Welcome to Cockington Parish Churches - the Church of England Parish of Cockington with Chelston, located in beautiful Torquay. We aim to be a church without walls, but have three church buildings - St George & St Mary, Cockington; St Matthew's, Chelston; and St Peter's Church Centre, Chelston. The parish includes beaches, a country park, local shopping centres and, most importantly, a thriving and diverse community. Cockington church is 950 years old this year - a chance to celebrate - yet we are not stuck in the past. We focus on community and long to engage more with all our local residents.
