Music and Worship

The organ was built by Messrs. Hele and Company of Plymouth. It comprises thirty-one sleaking stops, eight couplers and six combination pedals, but no pistons. It was later rebuilt by Messrs Henry Speechly and Sons of Dalston, London. a new Vox Humana Stop was added.


Groups, Courses and Activities

Youth club meet in term time in the small hall Friday at 7pm for two hours. Trips out during course of year.

Monthly Craft Club to get crafty and creative.

Monthly get together with our sister church St Paul's for a meal.

Addiction advice

As advertised at our sister church St Paul's one mile to the North. Usually twice a year.

Oldway Primary school (700 pupils, biggest in Devon) hold a Carol Service, Easter service, and Harvest service every year.

Good Friday Walk of Witness starts at Christ Church at noon.

Our hall has recently undergone massive rennovations to bring it up to modern standards and is available to hire.
The hall has seating for 100 in rows and seating for 80 around our Go Pak tables.
The hall has a large fully equipped kitchen available for use and a wheelchair accessable toilet.
The Hall has a new path down to the main entrance and is fully central heated.

To rent the Main Hall the cost is £18 per hour, or a fixed fee of £50 for children's parties, to include use of the Kitchen. A returnable £50 deposit must also be payable in advance. Please contact the vicar on 07739 500 913
