Welcome to St Michael's Church, Strete; a rural coastal village in the beautiful South Hams.

We hold services each Sunday morning at 11am, (but not on a 5th Sunday) these will be Morning Worship and usually a Holy Communion service on the 3rd Sunday, but this varies.  If you would like to find out more, please do contact us, we'd love to hear from you!

The Diocese of Exeter’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm, please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authorities Children or Adults Services.

We were blessed indeed in August 2023 to have a new Vicar, Rev Matt Gorton, to look after our four churches, it was reduced sadly to a part time role but it was nonetheless very welcome. Rev Matt brings a whole fresh outlook and we are very much looking forward to spending time with him in our Parish. Matt is supported by a wonderful selection of very talented and committed Readers, Lay preachers and visiting Clergy, who look forward to welcoming both regular members of the congregation and visitors who may be staying in the area or seeing family, or just passing through this beautiful area of the South Hams.

All Morning Worship, and Holy Communion on the third Sunday. No service on the fifth Sunday.
