Parracombe Craft Group held a display of some of their work in Christ Church as part of Parracombe Arts and Literary Festival. Members meet monthly in each others homes and their work is mainly crochet and knitted. Many of the items they make are sold in the hospice shop and items such as blankets may be donated to a local care home.
In addition members put a small donation in the pot at each meeting which over a number of years raised over £1200. From this fund, the club has supported a number of local charities such as Air Ambulance and the installation of a local defibrillator. Thank you to all who visited the display and made donations.
