The Government has said that weddings and public worship can take place in churches from Saturday 4 July. <a href="https://anglican.us9.list-manage.com/track/click?u=543e9623f7379d75d88235209&id=5040f77005&e=0bb88b15c2">You can read more here.</a> We are still awaiting more detailed guidance from the government about how to ensure church buildings are “Covid Compliant”.
You will no doubt know that, in relaxing restrictions and allowing more shops to open, the government also allowed churches to open but only for private individual prayer where social distancing and sanitising conditions can be maintained.At Christ Church, it has been decided that, for the time being, the church will remain locked.
