A Flower Festival was held in Christ Church during the May bank holiday weekend. With theme Rainbows, it set out to produce great splashes of colour. The organisers are very grateful and would like to thank all who supported the Festival in any way; the flower arrangers who set up the displays, those supplying and serving the refreshments, all those who made generous donations. The wheelbarrow display in the photo was the contribution from the members of the local Young Farmers club. There are other photos in the photo gallery. The final proceeds were £656, a really good contribution to church funds. The Festival was held as part of the Parracombe Arts and Literary Festival.
Due to an unfortunate set of circumstances, the Bank Holiday Fun Day scheduled for Monday at St Mary's has had to be postponed.
Come and join in the Bank Holiday fun, activities for young and not so young. You can download a full page poster from the download link.
