Explore Eggesford's fascinating heritage: All Saints Church with new local history exhibition (part of group opening with Eggesford Garden and Eggesford Barton).

The church will host an enhanced local history exhibition, and recent metal detectorist finds from the Civil War and other periods.

A traditional service of thanksgiving for the harvest led by Reverend Clive Jobbins using words from the Book of Common Prayer.

Followed by refreshments.

As in past years harvest items used to decorate the church will be available for a donation to church funds.

Come and enjoy cake, coffee, tea and good conversation. Donations in aid of repairs to the church. The cake, coffee and chat alternates between our two churches on a monthly basis.

The June Coffee, Cakes and Chat will include a plant sale. Anything, however small, is welcome, flowers and vegetables.

A service of the word is offered most months of the year using a service of traditional language. Three or four months of the year a service of Holy Communion is offered, with the aim being that Holy Communion will be offered here or in our sister church at Wembworthy in any month. In December there is a candlelit carol service.

The Right Reverend Moira Astin, Bishop of Crediton, joins us to baptise and confirm a new member to the Christian family. Everyone is welcome to take part in this very special event in the church's life.
