St Mary's

Welcome to the lovely and historic parish church of St Mary the Virgin, Sturminster Newton.

We are delighted to be opening up our church more can we have been able to recently.  St Mary's is now open every day for private prayer.  Please do come and enjoy the peace and tranquility of this ancient house of prayer.  We still ask you to check in using the app and to sanitise your hands when you arrive and leave.  And please, do respect the wishes of other visitors who may wish to continue maintaining a social distance.

The parish of Sturminster Newton, St Mary is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer, PSO.
