Holy Communion with Blessing of the Palms
The Eucharist of the Lord's Supper. Recalling Jesus' last supper with his disciples and includes a re-enactment of Jesus washing the disciples' feet - one of the most moving services of the whole year.
Walk with us as we carry the cross between our two churches, stopping along the way for Bible readings and prayer.
After The Procession of the Cross (an all-age event) from All Saints' Church (9.30am) to St. Mark's The Liturgy of Good Friday begins at 11.00am. After the moving account of the passion according to John there are devotions at the foot of the Cross with psalm and anthems sung by St. Mark's Singers.
THE EASTER LITURGY (SERVICE OF LIGHT) The service starts in the churchyard at dawn, with the kindling of a fire with which to light the Paschal candle (symbolising the light of the risen Christ) which is then processed into church.

We're looking forward to seeing you in St Mark's Church Hall (round the back of the church) on the 2nd Sunday of each month - @9am of course!
On your own, or with children, family and friends? This service is suitable for all, and a great introduction to church if it is your first time, or if you haven't been for a while.
Join us and enjoy a free breakfast, followed by a short act of worship focused around the telling of a Bible story with a simple hymn/song and brief prayers. Children are encouraged to take part - and there is colouring in for all ages!
Breakfast is a choice of cereals, yoghurts, toast, marmalade, a selection of jams, cheese, ham, rolls, croissants and pains au chocolat, and lashings of tea, coffee and juice - all provided by our amazing Breakfast@Nine team!
