Followed by a short service in the Church

At dusk on Easter Eve, we bring light from a brazier in the Churchyard, via the Paschal Candle, into the darkness of the Church and celebrate the Light of the World.

Followed by refreshments and Birthday Cake!

Lee Abbey is set on the spectacular North Devon Coast, in the Exmoor National Park. It is a Christian Community which provides retreats and holidays in a Christian setting. Each year, the Chalke Valley Benefice arranges a weekend away at this beautiful place. You are most welcome to join us.

This is an opportunity to see your old friends and meet some new ones, a happy, fun and inclusive atmosphere, good food, stunning scenery and a chance to think about faith. You can be as involved in all the activities as you wish or just take the opportunity to relax and be with friends.

We welcome everyone - and it is for all the family - some families come with three generations. So invite your friends and family, and let’s make this our 15th year a very special weekend. We are hoping to have 110 people in the main house.
