Do you take medication that comes in a blister pack? If so, the empty packs usually go into the waste and then into landfill. Now, there is a scheme to recycle these.
We have a collection point this month at the Post Box on Lower Road. Mel will be waiting to accept your empty blister packs from 10.45 am to 11.15 am on Tuesday 18 February.
In order for these packs to be recycled, they must be disassembled and the constituent parts recycled in different ways. This incurs a cost, so we are asking for a contribution of £1 for every 50 packs.
See the download for information about collection points in nearby villages.
