The Westbury Yarn Bombers will share their future plans for Westbury. The hall playgound will be open along with updates on the hall renovation progress.

Full peal attempt at All Saints

There will be a full peal attempt at All Saints church tower on Saturday 5th September starting at 10.30 am.
It will last 3-4 hours.

Enjoy sophisticated sounds with swing, soul and style.

Service of Holy Communion using the new Festival of Creation in Christ liturgy.

New Pilgrim course will be starting in Westbury on Monday 7th September from 10.30 am – 12.00 noon

Do you have questions about the Christian faith? Would you like to discuss your faith with others and find out more about what it means?

If you would like to join our new group, please sign the list in All Saints, or contact myself ASAP.

We shall be using a booklet from a series called Pilgrim – A course for the Christian journey. We shall be starting with Turning to Christ which explores what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

This lasts for six sessions. Venue to be announced. Please be in touch and we can give you full details.

Join us at our NEW home group! Where we will grow in faith and fellowship together. Come along and meet Rev'd Tracey at the Vicarage in Dilton Marsh and be with likeminded people. We'd love to see you! Contact one of our churchwardens (Sonja/Tess) if you are interested in joining.

You don't necessarily need to come every time and if you've not been to a home group before, don't worry, Jesus will show us the way.

A home group is usually described as:
A small gathering of 6-12 church members who meet regularly. Usually in a private home - outside of Sunday worship. With a focus on studying/discussing the Bible and praying as a group Together with building personal friendships and supporting one another in everyday Christian discipleship.

Each month we work together to carry out maintenance and cleaning tasks around the church and churchyard. We work hard and have with a time to chat over a cup of tea and a biscuit together.

We welcome anyone who wants to support us with the upkeep of the church.

ADVANCE NOTICE – SAVE THE DATE

Dreaming Dreams for the future of our ministry amongst children, schools and families in the WH Team

Led by Revd Rebecca and Revd Tracey.

Everyone is invited to join us for a vision day as we review our ministry amongst our children, schools and families, and as we dream some dreams for the future. All those who currently support this ministry have been invited, but it is open to everyone!

There will be worship and prayer, a presentation about pioneering from Revd Tracey and some discussion around tables and reflecting on a Bible passage. Please bring a packed lunch. Drinks will be provided.

If you would like to come, please sign up on the list in your church, or contact either myself or Revd Tracey.

The day will be held in a venue in Westbury, to be announced.

Please pray that this will be joyful and fruitful event and that we may know God’s guidance in all our planning and discussions.

On Saturday 12 September, in the Memorial Hall (Dilton Marsh), there will be another community Pachamama project sewing day. This time they are making reusable sanitary pads from fabric, for those less fortunate than us in Uganda. You do not need to bring anything, just a willing spirit. Perfect for families, join us for a relaxed breakfast, singing, prayers, crafts, reading and reflection.
9.45am for 10am start

Come along and have a look around - anytime between 9am-12noon. No need to book - just pop in!
You'll be able to meet the Family Hub Team and find out about the support available for children, young people and families. For more information about the Family Hub morning, open the attachment.

We look at what it means to have your child baptised (or christened) in church; what happens in the service; what we offer for children and families in our churches; and book the date in the diary for you.

Short said service of Holy Communion which takes place in the Lady Chapel of All Saints' Church

All are welcome to come and enjoy this year’s Harvest Thanksgiving Service at All Saints' Westbury. We are also inviting our uniformed organisations to join us for this Sunday: local Guides, Brownies, Scouts, Beavers, Cubs and St John’s Ambulance Cadets.

You are invited to bring donations for the Westbury Area Network Food Bank. Donations of tins and packets of food, with at least three months’ best-before date (please check), and also toiletries and pet food are welcome.

The service will be followed by Harvest lunch in the parish hall from 12.00 noon.
We will be serving home-made soup and puddings at lunchtime.
