Holy Saviour Church is located at the heart of Westbury Leigh. The building was converted in the year 2000 into a community centre. We are a small community that usually worship on the second and third weeks of the month. At other times are members worship at All Saints' Church the main parish church. We worship in what was the chancel of the church so look for a small door to the east end of the building to come in!
A short service of holy communion followed by a time of fellowship together.

All are welcome to come and enjoy this year’s Harvest Thanksgiving Service at All Saints' Westbury. We are also inviting our uniformed organisations to join us for this Sunday: local Guides, Brownies, Scouts, Beavers, Cubs and St John’s Ambulance Cadets.
You are invited to bring donations for the Westbury Area Network Food Bank. Donations of tins and packets of food, with at least three months’ best-before date (please check), and also toiletries and pet food are welcome.
The service will be followed by Harvest lunch in the parish hall from 12.00 noon.
We will be serving home-made soup and puddings at lunchtime.

We shall be using a booklet from a series called Pilgrim – A course for the Christian journey. We shall be starting with Turning to Christ which explores what it means to be a follower of Jesus.

A home group is usually described as:
A small gathering of 6-12 church members who meet regularly. Usually in a private home - outside of Sunday worship. With a focus on studying/discussing the Bible and praying as a group Together with building personal friendships and supporting one another in everyday Christian discipleship.

Are you concerned about climate change? Would you like to find out more about the crisis facing our natural world and how this is already impacting our daily lives, here and around the world?
Earlier in September, I went to a screening of the People’s Emergency Briefing which was organized by Westbury Town Council in the Laverton. The film features footage from last November’s National Emergency Briefing, bringing together leading UK experts in climate science, food security, health, economics, national security and nature.
It presents a calm, evidence-based overview of how the climate and nature crisis is affecting everyday life in Britain - and what the science says about risks and responses.
The initiative is explicitly non-partisan and supported by a wide range of organisations, including the Church of England, National Trust, WWF, the Royal Meteorological Society and many others.
The church has a long tradition and concern for stewardship, care for the vulnerable, and intergenerational responsibility. We believe this is an important moment for thoughtful, compassionate local dialogue. This is supported by Westbury Area Churches Together and Westbury PCC and we would like to show it to as many people as possible.
Following the 50-minute film, we will host a structured discussion about what this means for our community.
This is a FREE event open to all people over 16. We are inviting our MP Dr Andrew Murrison and other community leaders in our town and local communities, and everyone is welcome to attend.
