Church of England Diocese of Salisbury Salisbury Saint Mark and Laverstock Saint Andrew

About Us

St.Mark's is a family friendly church community aiming to be ‘Serving Jesus,Each other,Our World’.  We wish to be rooted in Christ and engaged in His mission to the World.  Our aim is to see and be disciples growing through prayer, worship, teaching and service in order to live out the faith and share the love of Jesus with others.

There are two congregations in our parish, one meeting at St.Mark's the other at St.Andrew's in the adjoining village of Laverstock. For details of their services look for St.Andrew's Laverstock SP1 1QX.

The church is not a building, it is simply the place where the church (the people) meet. Jesus taught us that, as Christians, His Father is also our Father, and so we are his brothers and sisters together in God's family. Since St. Mark's is a growing family that values Bible teaching, prayer and good relationships, we have divided ourselves up into a number of Home Groups. These groups mostly meet on a weekly basis in order to study the Bible together and to support, care and pray for one another.

You will find a variety of worship styles and services incorporating the best of the traditional and contemporary, but always with an informal, relaxed and open approach. Our sincere hope is that you will find a warm welcome and meet with the living God here in this family friendly church.

St. Mark's church is located beside the ring road, on the north eastern side of the city of Salisbury in Wiltshire (England). It's a big, old building, but don't let this put you off! We aim to offer a warm welcome (and frequently, a coffee) to one and all.

The Parish welcomed Rev. Andy Bousfield as its new Vicar on November 14th 2018. He leads a team including Non-stipendary clergy who are able to offer advice and support. Initial contact for baptisms, weddings, funerals and lettings should be made with the Parish Office Tel. 07933952171 or email [email protected]
