Formerly the "Mother Church of Bemerton", St. Peter's was George Herbert's Parish Church (Rector 1630-33). The church is notable for its very tall box pews(!)and gas lighting.Situated alongside the walls of Wiltion House (home of the Earls of Pembroke)St. Peter's makes an ideal venue for weddings (up to 100 guests)!
