Palm Sunday

This service begins at the Town Hall, where palm crosses are distributed and blessed, before we make our way back to St Bartholomew’s, recalling Jesus’ joyful entry into Jerusalem on a donkey. In the service, we also hear the account of Jesus’ betrayal and abandonment, crucifixion and death from the Gospel according to Luke.
Its name originates from the palm branches waved by crowds to greet and honour Jesus

8:00 am   Service of Holy Communion (said) (1st Sunday BCP)

10:00 am Parish Eucharist (sung)  (1st Sunday is an All Age Service)

Church Children in Church on 1st & 5th Sundays, in the Croft - 2nd, 3rd & 4th Sundays

Evensong is celebrated on the 1st Sunday of each month at 6:00pm

On the 2nd Sunday of each month, we have Worship @ 9, a more informal service, in The Church Hall

Wednesdays, there's a service of Holy Communion in Church at 10:30 am

Refreshments are available Monday - Saturday, 10:00 am - 12 noon in our Church Croft, alongside the church building.
