Nurstead: St Mildred
Meopham with Nurstead Parishes.
It is with great sadness that we have learnt of the death of His Royal Highness the Duke of Edinburgh.
We offer our prayers and condolences on behalf of all who live and work within these parishes to Her Majesty The Queen and all the Royal Family.
An online condolence book is available on the Church of England website: www.churchofengland.org/
Sadly, due to Covid-19 restrictions we are not able to provide condolence books in our churches.
St John’s Church will be open and available for individual prayer
and remembrance on Wednesday 14 April from 10am – 1pm
and St Mildred’s Church on Friday 16 April from 10am -1pm.
Please give thanks for the life of Prince Philip, for his lifetime of duty, sacrifice & service to this country and the Commonwealth and for his unswerving love and support for The Queen and their family.
We warmly welcome you to information regarding St Mildred’s Nurstead. As with all churches we have been responding to the government’s restrictions on gatherings.
