Thursday Fellowship with tea and cake!
On 28th May we welcome Dr. Roz Oliver to speak about her work as a Volunteer at Rochester Prison. Her previous two bookings had to be cancelled and we continue to hope all will be well this time. We meet as usual at 2.00.p.m. In the St. John's Centre, starting with a short time of worship and ending with Tea. Everyone is very welcome.
Our next meeting is on 25th June and we are going out to Spadework in Offham. Spadework, Teston Road, Offham, ME19 5NA. 01732 870002 and Goggle Spadework for their website. Spadework is a Charity that provides activities for adults with learning difficulties and is well worth supporting.
We will share cars and plan to arrive at 11.30.a.m.
There is a choice of coffee and snacks/cakes, browsing round the nursery and the shop, and lunch. The lunch options range from soup to a meal e.g. baked potato with salad; quiche ,chips and salad; etc. There is plenty of seating outside if the weather is good.
Each group in their cars can decide to leave whenever they wish.
