Thursday Fellowship with tea and cake!
Thursday Fellowship.
On Thursday 26th June, we are visiting Spadework at Teston. A Community that supports adults with learning difficulties, there is a Garden Centre, Farm Shop, and Cafe serving cakes and light lunches. A registered charity, all are welcome to visit and support in various ways. More details on their website - https://spadework.org.uk
We are going in cars together, arriving around noon and leaving to return before school traffic builds up. They do not take bookings but there is plenty of seating, in, out and covered outside.
We meet on the Thursday 24th July at 2.00.p.m. In the St. John's Centre. Our Speaker is Ms Mell Moss. For 3 months this Spring she worked as a volunteer in the West Bank as an Ecumenical Accompanier. Her role has been monitoring human rights and reporting back to the United Nations. Mel's title of her talk is ,'An Eye Witness Update On the Holy Land.' She is keen for her message to be shared with as many people as possible.
You are very welcome and there will be Tea to finish.
