🌿✨ PATH FOR PEACE ✨🌿St Margaret’s Church, Rainham📅 Thursday 8th May 2025Lighting the Path for Peace — marking 80 years since VE Day.🕘 Morning: 9:00am – 12:00pm• Visit the churchyard and place one of 80 solar lights along the path.• Spend time in the Tufton Chapel for quiet prayer, reflection, or to light a candle.🕯️Midday: 12:00pm – 1:00pm• Guided Prayer for PEACE in the Tufton Chapel, led by a member of the church prayer group.🔔 Evening: 8:20pm – 8:40pm• Listen to the church bells ring out at dusk as the lights glow across the churchyard.🕊️Special Moments• During the day, pupils from St Margaret’s CE Junior School will honour the WW2 British War Graves with light placements.• A PEACE Rose will be planted in the churchyard by our local community.Blessed are the peacemakers - come, reflect, and walk the Path for Peace with us. ✨All are warmly welcome to join us in remembrance, reflection and hope.✨
