The Bishop of Rochester is pleased to announce that, subject to completion of the usual legal formalities, The Revd David McLeod is to be appointed to the dual-role post of Associate Archdeacon of Rochester and Vicar of Princes Park. David is currently the Chaplain to Christ Church Brittany and the first Area Dean of North West France. His role as chaplain included serving four worship centres. He has a wealth of experience in parish ministry, which spans more than 20 years. While much of his priestly ministry has been in the Oxford Diocese, David knows this area well, having grown up just 6 miles away in Larkfield. Prior to ordination David worked for 10 years as an Occupational Therapist specialising in stroke and brain injury patients. Away from his priestly ministry, he enjoys outdoor activities such as walking, paddle-boarding and cycling. He is also a keen photographer, and plays the ukulele. David is married to Sue, and they have 16year old twins and a much-loved family dog. Please hold David, Sue and the family in your prayers as they prepare to move to us this summer, ready for his licensing which will take place on Thursday, 10th September. Fuller details will be made available nearer the time.
