This year we're going to Portsmouth, where attractions include the Historic Dockyard, Nelson's flagship the Victory, Henry V111's ship the Mary Rose , the D Day museum, and much more. You can choose which attractions to visit. We’ve negotiated a group rate and by coming on an organised trip you can skip the queues and make the most of your day. The day concludes with a relaxing meal in a lovely pub/restaurant overlooking the harbour. We are travelling as usual with the Brookline coach company. The coach fare is £30 per head. We will leave Leybourne at 8 AM and aim to be back by 9 p.m.The day trips are organised by the church for the community, and anyone is welcome to attend. Bookings for this trip have now closed. On Sunday 9th November, the community gathered at the war memorial outside the church for the traditional Remembrance Sunday service.
