Who's Who

REVD SIMON GOWLER: Simon is our priest in charge (vicar). We share him with the neighbouring parish of Holy Trinity, Rainow with Saltersford and Forest on a 50/50 basis. Prior to ordination (and for a couple of years after) Simon had a fulfilling career in the law as a Solicitor and for many years worked in Macclesfield.

Simon lives in the Vicarage at Rainow, where he has been vicar since 2021. He lives with his wife Liz and their school-age daughter Grace. Simon also has two older sons Richard and Andrew. In his spare time, Simon enjoys spending time with family, walking in the hills, and travel.
