Welcome to St Luke’s! We are a small village church, dating back to Norman times but rebuilt at the turn of the last century. Several Norman features are included in the structure of the ‘new’ Church.
Services are held every other Sunday followed by coffee and biscuits. A warm welcome is always included!
On the second Sunday of the month we celebrate Holy Communion at 10am. On the fourth Sundays of the month we share Morning Prayer at 10am. Members of the Methodist Chapel in Great Clifton are warmly invited to join our worship and we also join them for worship at the Chapel on Gatehead.
Every other Wednesday, we also host ‘Coffee, Cake and Crack’ at Bridgefoot Village Hall from 10am – lots of delicious home baking and a raffle every week – usually in aid of church funds. Everyone welcome. Look out for the banner on the village hall railings and posts on our Facebook page to see when the next one is.
Except for services and special events, our beautiful little church is kept closed. If you would like to visit, we can open up by arrangement. Please contact our churchwarden, Sue, on 07443 951675 if you would like to do that.
