How does this site work? Important things first!  'What time is the service?' 'Where is the church?' 'Who can I contact?' - you'll find answers here. Click on 'News and Notices' to find out about services and activities during the week ahead.

Explore the site further and you'll find lots more information about us: main sections are listed in the side menu (mobile users please click the small 'menu' icon on the top right of this page). From these main sections you can then access more in-depth information about our history, our beliefs and practices: this extra information is supplied in openable pdf files which can be read online or downloaded as you prefer.

Come and meet us to find out more, but in the meantime please read on to discover who we are, what we believe, and our hopes and plans for the future.

The Chaplaincy of Christ Church in la Manche is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Chaplaincy Safeguarding Officer, (CSO), Donna Derrick. (See LEADERSHIP TEAM and CONTACTS)

The Diocese in Europe’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our CSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the gendarmes and local Social Services (your Mairie will have contact details).
