Hands Together Ludlow - November 2023

St. Giles' Church has been a supporter of the Hands Together Ludlow (HTL) initiative since its inception.  HTL now organises and hosts a wide range of activities and facilities for the benefit of the local community, including the Community Fridge, the Good Grief Cafe, Good Start Together Toddler Group, and Ludlow Men's Shed

Community Fridge

Open 10.00am to 4.oopm Monday to Friday.  The aim is to reduce food waste by distributing good quality surplus food to all in the community.  The contents of the fridge come from surplus food donated by local food businesses, supermarkets and the public.  It also includes fresh food and ambient items.  Users have unrestricted access and anybody can take the food regardless of their personal circumstances. 

Community Lunch

Every Thursday at Helena Lane Day Centre, serving at 12.30 for a 2-course home-cooked meal for only £3.50.

Afternoon Tea

Every Wednesday at Helena Lane Day Centre, 2.00 - 3.30pm.  Unlimited sandwiches, tea and cake, in a warm and welcoming space, for a minimum donation.  Also includes a weekly quiz.
