Lowton St. Luke’s Mother`s Union Open Evening
Wednesday 14th October at 7.30 p.m. in church.
Join us for an evening of music and more from Yvonne and Matt: “ Banjo and Beyond".
All are very welcome to come to this wonderful evening. Be prepared to singalong!
Tickets are £3 including tea and biscuits. Pay at the door.

Join us the second and fourth Friday in the month in the Fellowship Room at St. Luke. We welcome anyone with ant craft- or just those who like a chat and a cuppa.

Join us for as St. Luke's Church celebrates a weekend of events:
16th October 7.30 p.m. Autumn Serenade performed by the Ladies of the Lowton, Golborne and Newton Community Choir and Ukulele Group;
17th October 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Heritage Day in association with Wigan and Leigh Archives and St. Luke's School. Come and stir some memories with archive documents and photos.
18th October 10 a.m. St. Luke's Day. A very special service with the Bishop of Liverpool, followed by a Bring and Share lunch,
Everyone is very welcome to come and celebrate not just the church and school, but also the community of Lowton.

An opportunity to get together across The Parish of Christ the Good Shepherd to discuss the future of the larger single parish as well as spend time together in prayer. Everyone is very welcome to join us.

Forget Me Not Friends It is a group who meet on the fourth Saturday in the month at Broadmead Day Centre. We welcome anyone who is lonely, who is a carer, who has health issues. Anyone who wants a bit of company and wants to get out of the house for a couple of hoursWe are also dementia friendly.

What do you do?
We have a brew and a bite to eat. You are welcome to chat and make new friends. We also have an event each month; for example, we have had a magician, a number of singers and entertainers who welcome you to sing along. We have quizzes, a raffle and bingo. We also have a Christmas lunch.
Is there a charge for this?

No. Admission is free. All you pay for are the drinks, food and raffle. We are a no-for-profit organisation, and aim to make the group accessible to everyone.
What is the Access to Broadmead like?
There are no steps and there is a car park outside the Day Centre, which is on Golborne Road, just past the Hare and Hounds on the right.
When is FMFNF open?
