The Sunday Stokers had loads of fun at their Pyjama Party on Sunday morning, hearing all about the next part of Joseph's story. 

Thrown into prison, Joseph keeps praying to God for help and is able to interpret his fellow prisoners' dreams. This brings him to the attention of the Pharoah himself. When Joseph interprets his dream about 7 thin cows eating 7 fat cows - a prediction of 7 years of plenty followed by 7 years of famine - the Pharoah puts him in charge of gathering food, making him his second-in-command: quite the meteoric rise from being sold into slavery!

The children took part in a chopstick challenge to gather as much wheat (sweets!) as they could. Then they made some rather clever cows to represent the ones in Pharoah's dream. After a sing-song, they enjoyed a treat of hot chocolate, marshmallows and cream before heading to church...... in their pyjamas!Well done, Stokers!
