The annual Duck and Boat Race is a wonderful community event held every year in the heart of our village. 

The village hall organised boat building ready for a range of races that were held throughout the afternoon. Rain definitely did not stop play, as many families came to enjoy the racing of the ducks and handmade boats.

The church served warming teas, coffees and sausage rolls, alongside a delicious spread of scones and cakes.

Many thanks to everyone who volunteered, sponsored races and contributed to make the day such a fabulous community event.
