This is a great opportunity for the local community of Coxley, and the area around Wells to enjoy cold or hot drinks at Christ Church Coxley. Come and enjoy chatting with and getting to know other people over a drink. Everyone is welcome to come! The church is a very pleasant tempreture on hot days, and it's heated on cold days, so come and enjoy space all year round!

Join us at this informal brunch at Christ Church Coxley. There'll be food, an optional quiz and a talk. There is also activities and crafts for children to do. This is a great monthly event to attend, and new people and families are always welcome to come along.

Come along to this special joyful service at the start of Holy Week. We remember Jesus entering Jeusalem. The excited crowds waved palm branches, celebrating the arrival of the long-awaited Messiah. This is the only church service happening in our churches today, so it's a chance for all of the local people to worship together. There'll be hymns, prayers, Bible readings and Holy Communion. Take away a cross made of palm leaves to help you remember Jesus over Easter. We look forward to welcoming you!

During the first three week days of Holy Week, come to St Matthew's Church, and take time to join together for 45 minutes each evening in silent meditation to think about your relationship with God and the events of Easter. There will be a short reflection to begin, a time of silence and a closing prayer.
You don't need to come to all of the sessions, just come when you can.

We join together to celebrate the Last Supper with a meal that we share on Maundy Thursday. Join us for this special occasion. There is no charge for the meal, but donations are welcome to cover church costs. Tenebrae is a chance to focus on the loss felt by Jesus' followers caused by his betrayal by Judas, his death on the cross and his burial in a tomb. This service reflects on the different shadows cast by these events, and this is symbolised by 13 candles. One by one each of these candles are extinguished leaving the church in darkness. This service reminds us that Jesus' suffered these shadows so that we might be restored to God and have eternal life.

On Good Friday, we remember Jesus' suffering and death. This time symbolises us keeping Jesus company like his family, friends and followers did at the foot of the cross. This is a thoughtful and reflective service.

Join us for a service of Holy Communion. There will be hymns, prayers, Bible readings and a short sermon too. Plus tea and coffee served after the service.

Join us as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus! We will share Holy Communion and celebrate this special day! There's activities for children, and there will be Easter eggs to hunt for, which we'll share together.This is a very joyful service for all ages! We'll remember the awesome events of Easter including the resurrection of Jesus!

Join us for a traditional and musical evening service.

This is a beautiful service, which uses service booklets so that you know which parts the minister says, and which parts the congregation say aloud. One of the main parts of the service is the Psalm for the day, which is either said aloud or sung. This is followed by readings from the Bible, including the joyous words of the Virgin Mary when she learned she would give birth to Jesus, and the heartfelt words of Simeon, when he recognises the Messiah when he meets Jesus. The service ends with prayers: the Lord's Prayer, the prayer for the day, a prayer for peace and a prayer for help against troubles. There are four hymns which are sung during the service, and a a short talk too.

Join us at this Holy Communion service, which is a chance for people from all three parishes to worship together each month. The service is for all ages, with singing, Bible readings, prayers, and a short talk. There is space for children to play and be creative in the church, or they can join in with the service. This is a more relaxed church service than other Holy Communion services, making it great if you're exploring your faith. Everyone is welcome, and there's a chance to chat to other people after the service over coffee.
