As a Parish within the Diocese of Bath and Wells we take our safeguarding responsibilities very seriously and we believe that Safeguarding is the responsibility of everyone and a core part of being a welcoming church. Everyone should have the right to be safe, and feel safe, in the church environment.

Safeguarding is reported on at all of our PCC meetings, even if there is nothing to report.

All of our staff, parish officers, and volunteers, undertake and maintain safeguarding training in line with national church safeguarding training requirements. All staff and volunteers go through a process of safer recruitment and hold valid DBS certificates where their role requires them to do so.

A copy of the Parish Safeguarding Policy can be found on the Policy page of this site.
