Church of England Diocese of Blackburn St. Saviour Bamber Bridge

St Saviour's Bamber Bridge

The parish of St Saviour Bamber Bridge is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults.

We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and we have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO), Mrs Susan Barnes, who can be contacted on 07989 454618 for Safeguarding enquiries and assistance (also at [email protected]). The Diocese of Blackburn's safeguarding pages ( contain vital links and information including contact details for the Diocesan Safeguarding Team (DST) who advise our PSOs.

If you are concerned a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DST. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
