Wonderful service with Bishop Jill at Holy Trinity Church Freckleton this morning.Followed by an inspirational and moving Songs of Praise service, where members of the congregation from both churches shared their favourite hymns and gave the testimony behind them. Stewart, our organist, gave us the history behind each hymn and the theological significance, too.And then we were all fed with the most delicious cream scones.A massive thank you to everyone who has made this wonderful weekend happen.Thanks be to God for all that he has given us.
We bounced, non-stop, with Bouncelona Bouncy Castles.We ate sausages, made crafts, played games, had conversations about Jesus, and we didn't let the rain stop us! Special shout out to Steve, who ran the welly-throwing competition in the rain!Thank you to all who worked so hard to run day 2 of our #faithandfun mission weekend and gave up your time, especially to Mr Kenyon at Freckleton C of E Primary School, for hosting us.We get to do it again tomorrow at St Pauls Warton 2.30pm - this time, it's Songs of Praise and a delicious cream tea.
What a fabulous chocolate bingo and pizza afternoon we had for our faith and fun weekend. It was lovely to welcome so many families. Thank you to all who helped.
