Philippa, until recently resident in Aldington, will talk about the explorations and adventures of her forebears in the polar regions: Admiral Sir George Back (1796-1873) in the Arctic, and Professor Frank Debenham OBE PM (1883-1965) in the Antarctic, and she will describe her own travels in retracing their journeys.
