Occurring
for 4 hours
Venue
Church of the Good Shepherd
Address
The Street Hamstreet, TN26 2JH, United Kingdom

The third in our series of workshops continuing the theme of 'Sowing the Seeds of Hope' and exploring how to promote the Gospel in our communities and grow our churches. Everyone is welcome. Please bring an individual packed-lunch as it is not possible to host a 'bring and share' lunch on this occasion. Coffee and tea provided. Please note the venue is the Church of the Good Shepherd and NOT St Mary's Kenardington as had been previously suggested.

St Mary's

St. Mary's, Orlestone, is the official Anglican parish church for the former village of Orlestone, and for the newer village of Hamstreet. It is now in partnership with the Church of the Good Shepherd in Hamstreet, which is a Local Ecumenical Partnership (LEP) with the Methodist Church.

The official name of the parish is St. Mary's, Orlestone with Snave. The parish includes three churches, St. Mary's, The Church of the Good Shepherd, and St. Augustine's, Snave. St. Augustine's no longer has regular worship and is looked after by the Romney Marsh Historic Churches Trust (www.romneychurches.net). There is one service held there a year, a Harvest Festival choral BCP Evensong, held in early September.

Our congregation is small, but friendly and welcoming. Please join us for our mid-week BCP (Book of Common Prayer) Communion Service each Wednesday at 12 noon (from Ash Wednesday to Christmas) or our monthly Sunday service, every third Sunday at 9am.
