Our regular service of Taizé Prayer held during Lent.
Note the earlier time of 6.00pm.
This service will precede the first session of the Lent Course which will start at 7.00pm
This Lent we will be reflecting on the Lord's Prayer by basing our sessions on Archbishop Stephen Cottrell's book entitled "Praying by Heart - The Lord's Prayer for Everyone". Our sessions will be held on five consecutive Thursdays, starting from Thurs 26th February and ending Thurs 26th March. Each session begins at 7pm and should last one hour. A service for all those who knew Charlotte who wish to remember her and share memories of her life with the church and village community and friends old and new. A book of memories is available in the church for those who would like to share their memories.

Palm Sunday falls this year on 29th March. As it is a 'fifth Sunday' in the month, we will be holding a Benefice Holy Communion Service at St. Matthew's, Warehorne @ 10.30am.
Palm Sunday marks the beginning of Holy Week and particularly commemorates when Jesus entered Jerusalem on a donkey, to be greeted by joyous crowds waving palm leaves. We will remember our Lord's Passion with a solemn liturgy for Good Friday
There will be an Easter Vigil in St. Martin's, Aldington held in the darkness of Holy Saturday night, is the primary celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Following the tradition of the Taizé Community we gather in church for meditative prayer through a mixture of simple chants, silence and intercessory prayer. All welcome.
