Everyone is welcome to join us for this special service where we bring to mind those whom we have loved but are no longer with us. There will be an opportunity to share the names of your loved ones and light a candle to remember them.

Alpha Course for the people of Warehorne and the other villages in the Saxon Shoreline Benefice who are curious about the Christian faith and are aged 18+. Coming together on Tuesday evenings at Mountfield Farm, Warehorne, to enjoy a meal together, video and a discussion about life, faith and meaning.

Usually lay led, an informal participative service with hymns and music
We gather on Remembrance Sunday, 8th November 2026 at St. Mary Magdalene, Ruckinge, for our Remembrance Sunday Service. Supported by our Uniformed Groups and the Royal British Legion, we solemnly remember the War Dead of the two World Wars and subsequent conflicts.
We will gather on Armistice Day, 11th November @ 10.50am at the Hamstreet War Memorial, Pounds Lee, The Street for a short Act of Remembrance including a two minute silence, supported by the Hamstreet Branch of the Royal British Legion.
Usually BCP, sometimes lay led
While the church is closed this service will be led as Prayer, Praise and Coffee, taking place at Ruckinge Village Hall and, details shown in this section

A joint service of Holy Communion for the parishes within the Saxon Shoreline Benefice.
Each year villagers and the congregation of Hamstreet donate toys for families and their children who would otherwise not have presents on Christmas Day. In our service on Advent Sunday, these gifts are presented and prayers offered for all who will be blessed by the generosity of others.
Following the tradition of the Taizé Community we gather in church for meditative prayer through a mixture of simple chants, silence and intercessory prayer. All welcome.
