Dear Friends Becky and Fiona have introduced a regular pattern of weekly Morning Prayer which engages with each parish month by month. We pray that this pattern of regular, committed prayer rooted in our parish churches will be a source of inspiration and create a firm foundation for the ministry and mission of every parish and community. We hope others will join us each week, especially people from the parish where we are meeting. Our intention is to:Meet every Monday at 9.30 am to say morning prayer.Meet in each parish church for one month at a time, taking parishes in alphabetical order. (See schedule below)Ask the ‘host’ parish to suggest specific prayer requests and make sure those requests are circulated more widely e.g. in Peter’s weekly email. Our first benefices' Morning Prayer will be at 9.30 on Monday 5 January in Addingham. Please do join us if you canSchedule for Morning Prayer, Mondays at 9.30January: AddinghamFebruary: CulgaithMarch: EdenhallApril: Great SalkeldMay: KirklandJune: KirkoswaldJuly: LangwathbyAugust: LazonbySeptember: MelmerbyOctober: OusbyNovember: RenwickDecember: SkirwithWishing you every blessing for Christmas and the New YearFiona & BeckyRevd Fiona JenkinsPriest in Charge Eden Bridge Group (Kirkoswald, Renwick with Croglin, Great Salkeld and Lazonby), East of Eden Mission Community co-leaderTel: 07725 404668Usual working days: Sunday, Monday & ThursdayRevd Becky RichardsAssociate Priest of the Benefice of the Cross Fell Group and the Eden Bridge group of churches.Tel: 01768 639014Usual working days: Sunday - Wednesday

This Crowd funder has been set up to help raise funds for All Saint's Church, Renwick with Croglin, Roof and Community Center project. There has been a Church in Renwick for at least 750 years and probably much longer. Sadly our current building is in need of extensive roof repairs and following the closure of the Methodist Chapel, the village of Renwick no longer has a suitable community space with kitchen and toilet facilities. In June 2022, the PCC decided to begin the project to reorder the Church building, to alter the interior to provide a community space which would be available for the whole village to use. This will entail removing the pews from the main body of the Church and replacing them with chairs, while leaving the altar, choir stalls and pulpit in situ. Also included are plans to change the heating system, upgrade the kitchen, install a toilet, add secondary double glazing and put solar panels on the new roof. We now have full plans drawn up for the project and permission to implement them, along with quotes for the work, which will be in excess of £200,000. We already have approximately £55k for the project, but to be able to apply for grants for further funding, we need to raise more. The target for this phase of the project is £30,000, this will be re-assessed, if we are successful in being awarded any grant funding. While we do hold regular fundraising events and could not keep the Church running without the generosity of residents and visitors, we are now looking for further donations to the project fund, to ensure the Church building has a secure future. We would therefore appreciate any donation, big or small and are extremely grateful for all contributions to the project. If you would like further information please email allsaintsrenwick@hotmail.com or visit the Church Facebook page "All Saint's Church, Renwick with Croglin".To go to the fund page please visit:https://www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/all-saints-renwick-with-croglin-community-center
