Join with us to celebrate Palm Sunday. We start at Kirkoswald Methodist Chapel, and walk through the village singing hymns, and finishing with a service at St. Oswald's Church (starting at 11-15am approx.) At the front of our procession will be a donkey, as on Palm Sunday we remember that Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey.
There will be tea/coffee at St. Oswald's Church from 10-45 am.
This is a joint event for all the churches and chapels in our Mission Community, and visitors are welcome to join us. Feel free to come for just part of this special event.

Celebrate Jesus' resurrection on Easter Day with this short early service.
If weather allows, it will be outside the church- otherwse inside.
Led by Rev. Fiona Jenkins, it will include renewal of baptismal vows and lighting of the Easter fire (weather permitting.) Hot cross buns afterwards.

You are welcome to come and join us, as we worship God in our Communion service- led by Rev. Fiona Jenkins. We will also hear from Emily Milburn about her work with local young people in the area, including Penrith and the fairly new Youth Group at Kirkoswald.
After this - at about 12-15pm onwards - we are having a bring and share cold buffet lunch- just turn up - even if you haven't been to the service - and bring something to share on the buffet table.
