Christmas is coming! We'll be celebrating the greatest story ever at St James Church and invite you to join us. The Annual North End Community Carol Service 2025 will be on Tuesday 9th December at 7pm. Everyone is welcome - come along and join in as we share the good news together. Put the date and time in your calendar, tell your friends, and don't miss out. The Service lasts about an hour, with tea and mince pies afterwards.

St Bede

Welcome to St Bede's.  Our Community Centre and Chapel have been at the heart of Claughton VIllage on the Wirral for many years, and we continue to serve our community today as part of the Church of England Parish of St James with St Bede.  You'll find us on Upton Road, Claughton.

Our Community Centre is available for booking during weekdays and on Saturdays, and we hold a weekly Service of Holy Communion at 9.30am on Tuesday mornings.  Our Parent and Toddler Group, Bumblebede's, meets on Friday mornings in Term time, and we host uniformed groups for children and young people of all ages on week nights (Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts).  St Bede's Chapel is Licensed for Weddings, and with our large Community Centre and catering-sized kitchen, can make the ideal venue for that special celebration.
