Our Christian friend, Irene - who lives and works in Derbyshire - had a vision years ago to support her mother who was caring for several orphaned children in her village in Kenya.

Over the years, those children have grown up and the support has grown into a brilliant self-help agricultural project.  The original group of children are still supported through their continuing further education.

The support group in Crich is called CHIKS (Children in Kenya Support).  CHIKS continues to organise fundraising events and find sponsors. Their latest Newsletter is attached to this page.
