Looking to the Cross. A series of Lent Gatherings in Tideswell. Led by Revd Carole Marsden and students from Cliff College. 11am-12noon each Friday morning during Lent, at Fountain Square Church.
Join with us for an informal Lent gathering each week as we journey towards Easter using creative and diverse images of the cross, familiar and new music, bible readings and shared conversations.
Everyone welcome but please let us know if you are wanting to attend as a light soup and bread lunch will be served afterwards so numbers are needed. Will you please email [email protected] if you plan to attend

St John the Baptist Tideswell: The Cathedral of the Peak

Welcome to the home page of St John the Baptist Church, “The Cathedral of the Peak” in the Derbyshire Parish of Tideswell.

St John's Tideswell is open for private prayer from 10am - 4pm daily unless there is a funeral or wedding. All are welcome in this ancient space where people have prayed for centuries, take a slow walk round the church or simply sit for a while.
