It's time for our annual church meeting, open to all to come and hear about what we have been up to at St John's and the plans we have for the future.

Hello. Welcome to St John's Charlesworth - Your local parish community Church.

Whether you are a regular or have no idea about church or christianity do not worry, we would love to see you. 

Services usually consist of some music, bible reading, prayers and afterwards tea, coffee and a lot of biscuits.  Don't worry if you can't sing in tune, have never opened the bible, have no idea about praying or once came to church a while ago. 

You will fit right in.. come on your own, as a family, with the children, with the dog, with the neighbour we would love to see you. 

We really love hosting and supporting big life events so if you want to get married, have a blessing, christening or want to mark the end of a loved ones life with a funeral, memorial or burial of ashes please get in touch.  We look forward to meeting you. Love and God Bless Rev Laura. x

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
