each lasting 90 minutes.

Down-to-earth ‘vox pop’ interviews and settings including Blackpool beach, a fun fair, shopping centre and a junk yard prompt lively discussion. There’s time to chat, interactive exercises and space for reflection – all in a style that aims to be honest and enjoyable.

What’s life all about and where are we going?
Does God exist and what is He like?
Why is the world in such a mess?
Who was Jesus, and is He relevant?
What does Jesus’ death on the cross mean for me today?
How far can I go forward with God in my life?
Start will help you discover more about God, Jesus and the journey of life.

Hello. Welcome to St John's Charlesworth - Your local parish community Church.

Whether you are a regular or have no idea about church or christianity do not worry, we would love to see you. 

Over this winter period we have lots of options for you to come along and connect with God and connect with other people. We are so excited about getting to know you whether young or young at heart. 

Services usually consist of some music, bible reading, prayers and afterwards tea, coffee and a lot of biscuits.  Don't worry if you can't sing in tune, have never opened the bible, have no idea about praying or once came to church a while ago. 

You will fit right in.. come on your own, as a family, with the children, with the dog, with the neighbour we would love to see you. We have a area set out for children so they can see everything going on, potter round and be themselves.

We love hosting and supporting big life events so if you want to get married, have a blessing, christening or want to mark the end of a loved ones life with a funeral, memorial or burial of ashes please get in touch.  We look forward to meeting you. Love and God Bless Rev Laura. x
