Accessibility

Toilets are in the Church Hall a short walk from the church. Disable access across the site.

These facilities are in the Church Hall in the disabled toilet.

We have 18 spaces in the Church Hall car park including one designated space for blue badge holders. The car park is a short walk from the church.

Our Building

St Peter's is a Grade 2* listed building. Most of the building is medieval in origin though the tower was rebuilt in Victorian times to house 6 bells and the clock which has two faces.


Music and Worship

We have a team of ringers who ring for Weddings and on special occasions. If you would like to know more or would like to learn how to ring the bells please contact the Vicar on 01332 704835 who will be happy to put you in touch with the Tower Captain.

We put on occasional concerts every year. The choirmaster and choir lead special choral evening services for major festivals.

Organ

Holy Communion at 9.00am on the first Sunday of the month.

Our choir meets to practise in their choir room in the church hall on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm. Our choirmaster David is also our organist. The choir sing an anthem during the 10.30am service and lead choral evening services for major church festivals. Groups, Courses and Activities

Bible Study is in the Church on Tuesday from 7.30pm. This is lead by one of our Readers.

Our holiday Club runs for 1 week during the summer holiday and for 1 day at Christmas. This is a joint venture with Chellaston Methodist Church.

Funday Church is held in the church hall on the first Sunday of the month from 3.00pm. Full of fun, craft, stories, songs and food!

St Peter's Poppets meets in the Church Hall on 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 2.00pm
