CHILDREN'S WORK

We have a varied programme of events for children throughout the year so why not bring the children along?

Holiday Club - In the Summer Holidays, a week long, morning activity week for children aged 3-11

All-Together Worship - on the first Sunday of the month in the Church Hall at 10am. Family friendly service with songs, craft, story and prayer and Breakfast beforehand at 9.15am!

Sunday School (Blue Door Gang) - meets on the third Sunday of the month at 10am in the Church Hall for craft, games, bible story and fun. For children between 3 and 11 years of age. Come along and enjoy all sorts of activities from ice cream and bread making to treasure hunts and making boats to test out in 'hone-made' storms! We go over to the church and join the end of the service and share what we have been doing with everyone there.

Peter's Poppets - see separate page for more information but in brief: a group for pre-school children and their parents or carers with craft, singing and refreshments - First Monday of the month from at 2pm in the Church Hall.

Facilities for children in Church

The carpeted area at the back of the church is available for supervised quiet play. There are some toys and books and simple colouring and craft activities provided.

Don't worry if your children make a bit of noise or want to move around during services - we only ask that you keep an eye on them to ensure their safety - there are some steps and hard corners in the church. If you do feel the need to withdraw a little, the vestry at the back of the church is available.

There are toilets and nappy changing facilities in the church hall next to the church, speak to one of our church Wardens and they will be happy to help you.

If you'd like to find out more about children's activities in the church get in touch.
