Shopping Assistance For the Vulnerable

22 Apr 2020, 9:15 p.m.

CENTRAL ENGLAND COOP WITH DERBY CITY COUNCIL - SHOPPING FOR VULNERABLE PEOPLE ๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’š

If you or anyone you know within Derby City requires assistance with shopping you can ring the helpline โ€“ (01332) 640000. It may be to give your neighbours or family a rest from shopping.

The person has to be classed as vulnerable or has received a letter from the Government.

Once they have phoned the number, an order is taken over the phone, it is then passed to the team at Littleover where they pick and pack it, then the volunteers of DCC collect and deliver. They ring the client prior to delivery to make payment over the phone, so they *need a debit card* to pay.

If you can also let people know, that would be great.

Keep safe
