It's only January and we're already thinking about Christmas. Last year we helped tell the Christmas story to over 700 6 and 7 year olds as they went on The Christmas Journey. This year we want to tell it to even more children and are asking for volunteers. The Christmas Journey this year will be on 28/29th Nov, and 2nd-6th December. We don't expect people to be available for every single day. If you can only help for one morning on one day, we'd still love for you to volunteer. A lot of the new volunteers from last year are already looking forward to this year's journey. If you, or someone you know, would like to help, or even if you just want to know more about what the Christmas Journey is, come along to St. Matthew and St Luke's on Jan 29th at 7:30pm.You are NOT committing yourself to doing anything by coming along.

This week our Open the Book team visited our local Primary School on Corporation Road to tell the story of creation.Open the Book is a simple yet creative way of telling the Bible story in a way which engages with children. Open the Book started in Bedford in 1999 and has grown into a national phenomenon, reaching thousands of children every week. The Children of Corporation Road Primary School were fantastic and enthusiastic and we can't wait until November when we go back to tell the next part of the story.
