About Us

St. John the Baptist is one or 2 churches in the Parish of West Weardale, (together with St. Thomas, Heatherycleugh) and  of 4 churches in the Benefice of Upper Weardale. The parish is currently in interregnum.

We are currently served by Interim Priest Graeme Holdswoth and Associate Priest Heather Ross,  as well as several active retired priests.
