The Parish Centre has separate toilet facilities for male a female.There is also a disabled toilet located in the Parish Centre.

Baby Changing Facilities

We have car parking facilities which are council owned and are free to all on Sundays and all other days after 6.00 pm. At any other time parking fees are paid for at the machines located around the car park, The car parks are in front of the Parish Centre on Church Chare. Chester-Le-Street. DH3 3QB.

The Parish Church audio system includes an induction loop system. All midweek and Sunday services are amplified and utilise the system.

Music and Worship

Bell Ringing

The music and worship at our Sunday 10.00 am services is enabled by two music groups. These are piano, guitar and percussion led with a group of talented singers.

The organ is currently under refurbishment which will be completed early December.

Holy Communion at 8.00 am
Holy Communion or Evening Prayer at 6.00 pm. The services include an organist and a robed choir.

The robed Choir enhances worship during the Sunday evening service. There are approximately 15 committed members and anyone seeking to become part of this should speak to the choir master.

Nurture Courses

The Autumn Alpha Course will begin 20th September and end on 22nd November. We gather at the Parish centre at 6.30 pm beginning with a hot meal and desert. The Alpha talks will be led by Rev David Tully and Rev Mark Harrison. For details on this and further Alpha events please contact the Parish Centre Office on 0191 3883295

In addition to our CAP debt support we offer to people the CAP Job Club course. We are now in our second year of operating this and have an experienced team of people supporting and mentoring those who are exploring the prospect of new job opportunities.

The Parish Centre seeks to serve the community through its Cafe. We have a great team of people who provide drinks and snacks along with a lunch time menu which caters for all dietary needs. Parking for the cafe is on site and opening times are 10.00 -1.30 pm.

The Parish Church and the Parish Centre have audio-visual facilities. Our Sunday services at 10.am are supported by audio-visuals.
